What this site intentionally collects

I do not intentionally use analytics or visitor-tracking services on dibeneditto.com. The site does not contain advertising, does not provide user accounts, does not use a server-side contact form, and does not intentionally set tracking cookies.

I do not sell visitor information or use visitor activity to build advertising or marketing profiles.

Infrastructure providers

Operating a public website necessarily involves infrastructure providers. Domain registration, DNS, hosting, content-delivery, security, and network providers may process technical information needed to operate, secure, and deliver their respective services.

Namecheap is the registrar for dibeneditto.com. Cloudflare provides authoritative DNS and related network and security services. GitHub Pages hosts the website content.

Cloudflare states that its authoritative DNS service includes protection against DDoS attacks. If a web-facing DNS record is configured as proxied through Cloudflare, HTTP and HTTPS traffic for that record also passes through Cloudflare before reaching the host, allowing Cloudflare to provide additional security and performance services. If a record is configured as DNS-only, Cloudflare answers DNS requests but does not proxy the website traffic.

GitHub states that when a GitHub Pages site is visited, the visitor's IP address is logged and stored for security purposes. GitHub performs this logging as part of operating and securing GitHub Pages. I do not use that information for analytics, advertising, or visitor tracking.

I do not intentionally use Cloudflare Web Analytics or another visitor analytics service for dibeneditto.com. Infrastructure providers may nevertheless process IP addresses, request information, security signals, or other technical data as part of operating their services, and may use strictly necessary cookies or comparable mechanisms when required for security or service operation.

These providers operate under their own privacy practices: Namecheap Privacy Policy, Cloudflare Privacy Policy, and GitHub Privacy Statement.

Browser-local tools

Some tools on this site may use browser features such as local storage to preserve settings or unsaved work on your own device. A tool may also request access to a local file when you explicitly choose to open or save one through your browser.

That browser-local information is intended to remain on your device and is not uploaded to me merely because you use the tool. Individual tool pages may provide additional information when their behavior requires it.

Information you choose to send me

If you contact me by email, telephone, or another external service, I will receive the information you choose to provide through that communication. I may retain ordinary correspondence as needed to respond, maintain records, or continue a professional conversation.

Because the site itself does not provide a server-side contact form, those communications are handled through the communication service you choose rather than submitted through dibeneditto.com.

This site links to third-party websites and services, including professional profiles, repositories, publications, and media. Following an external link takes you to a service with its own privacy practices. I do not control how those third parties collect or use information.

I may update this page if the site's technology or data practices change. The modified date at the top of the page will be updated when the policy changes materially.
